The GREEK CARAVAN OF SOLIDARITY decided to bring to Greece, the very popular and well known - throughout Europe and worldwide – concept of Charity Shops.

Charity Shops offer goods in excellent condition at very low prices (books, accessories, vinyl records and CDs, as well as small furniture) donated by citizens.
Most items sold at the Caravan’s charity shop are second hand, as those items are donated to the Caravan and can be sold at extremely low prices.

At the Caravan’s shop items are fully recycled (not just raw materials like paper, glass and metal).
An item that is considered old and not very practical by its owner, becomes a new and useful acquisition for its new owner. Thus, a beautiful, cheerful, anonymous bazaar takes place among those people who donate and those who buy the items.

The items offered at the Caravan’s shop are comparable to brand new items. They have all undergone a strict selection process, based on hygiene and aesthetics. Each has its own, unique personality, resulting from the principles and standards of the CARAVAN.

In other countries charity shops are extremely popular.

At “Second Hand” there is an Antiques corner, offering items full of mystery. For those insisting on “first hand” purchases, many unused items, donated by painters, authors, companies, etc., can be found in the special “First Hand” corner.
