What is Second Hand? | Questions and Answers

Where can I drop off the goods;
At the Caravan’s shop, in downtown Athens, 14-16, Feidiou Street (off Em. Benaki Street, between Akadimias and Panepistimiou). Right where you can also do your shopping. Opening hours, same as the regular stores.

Can I offer anything?
All goods handled by the Caravan are listed in the main page.
In terms of clothing, the Caravan only handles limited goods at this stage (scarves, hats, belts, neckties, handbags) and items of high quality and standard. Offered goods must be in very good condition, with the exception of "antiques".

What happens to the goods I offer?
All goods offered to the Caravan undergo a strict selection process. Those that meet the standards of hygiene and aesthetics will end up in the display cases of our shop. Others will be offered to people who have certain needs. A small number might end up in recycling.
No accepted good shall be wasted.

Can I become a volunteer?
The operation of the Caravan relies on volunteer work. You could be part of the following groups:

• selection
• pricing
•shop staff
• correspondence
